Photon Water Technology installed two water treatment units in Ilabaya in southern Peru. Installation of reverse osmosis units was carried out in early September 2018. The first unit was installed in a metal container on the main square of Ilabaya and the other at the I.E. Gustavo Antonio Pinto Zeballos school. The newly installed units provide high-quality drinking water to almost all of the residents of Ilabaya who care for their health.
In October, Photon Water Technology organized an information and education campaign for students of the elementary and secondary schools and their parents on the grounds of I.E. Gustavo Antonio Pinto Zeballos school, which was attended by more than 80 people. The workshop for the general public, which took place at Centro Cultural Juvenal Ordonez Salazar, also attracted great interest. Ilabaya residents are actively interested in the issue of drinking water treatment, given the environmental aspects and the health aspects of consuming untreated contaminated water.
